About Us
The East Lansing Aquatics Parent Booster Organization (ELAPO, also referred to as EL Aquatics), is a parent-run non-profit organization designed to bring the families, swimmers, and coaches together. Every swimming, diving and water polo family member is automatically a member of ELAPO and is encouraged to attend as many monthly meetings as possible.
ELAPO meetings are held on the second Monday each month to plan meets, events, gatherings, and discuss issues about the teams. Meetings will start at 7:00 pm in the Film Room across from the East Lansing High School pool area. Join us!

Purpose
|
EL Aquatics exists for the purpose of broadening the involvement of East Lansing students and their families through support of all aquatics programs at East Lansing schools. We support all teams- varsity, junior varsity, and middle school, if applicable and all aquatics sports—swimming, diving and water polo for boys and girls. It is also intended, to the extent possible, that the benefits provided by EL Aquatics to the students shall be fairly distributed to each applicable team for the benefit of the program as a whole.
EL Aquatics works to achieve its goals through active participation of as many families as possible in East Lansing schools’ aquatics programs working closely with the coaches, the building staffs and district athletic director, and the building administrations. The club does not seek to control or direct the activities or policies of the coaches or of the school administration. We operate in accordance with all East Lansing School District and Michigan High School Athletic Association rules and regulations, which shall take precedence over these by-laws, and we work cooperatively with the ELHS Athletic Boosters in its efforts to provide support to athletic programs in the East Lansing School District. The objectives of the organization are:
